The rest, as they say, is history. More and more yarn found its way to the shelves and racks in Friends & Fiber. Today you’ll discover a huge selection of exquisite yarns that are available to take home and begin using immediately.  The spacious shop is filled with yarns from across the United States and from around the world. Most of these glorious yarns are made with hard-to-find fibers like wool, silk, linen, alpaca, cotton, hemp and more.

The shop remains true to its heritage. Vicki, along with several customers, still display items made with yarn from the shop. And, while these items are primarily there to serve as inspiration for patrons’ next projects, many of them are also available to purchase.

The heritage also continues with the Friends & Fiber creative community. The friends part of the name is alive and well within the open knit and open crochet groups. Any and all are welcome to sit down and knit a while. Many find not only help and encouragement with their projects but also new friends with a shared passion.
