Welcome to Friends & Fiber, your Local Yarn Shop. We’re passionate about yarn and believe that life is too short to knit or crochet with anything but fabulous fibers. If you feel the same, we’re the place for you. We feature local, domestic and imported yarns. And, many of our yarns come with a free pattern. We also carry a complete line of needles, hooks and other necessary notions. 

Our unique store resides in historic, downtown La Grange, Kentucky. Here visitors will find not only our shop, but also art galleries, restaurants, book stores, and more. We’re the town with the railroad tracks running right down Main Street! The town is just off Interstate 71 at Exit 22, northeast of Louisville, Kentucky.

If you’ve always wanted to learn to knit, we’ll be happy to teach you this creative and calming art. Just purchase your yarn and supplies here and we’ll get you started. We can also help as you go along with your projects.
